I am still trying to coordinate shots for me and Kathryn. The County Health Department had May 8 as the soonest we can get in. They still will not guarantee that Yellow Fever vaccine will be available. Please pray that we all will be able to get our sgots in a timely manner.

Hey everybody, so are we still trying to procure a vial of yellow fever so Mary K. can shoot us up? (David and I have appts. on May 1st at the Health Dept, but I am willing to save money by letting Mary give us shots. Is there any way?) Thanks!
Trish let me know that it's not the best plan to try to get the vial and do the shots together. Let's pray in faith that the yellow fever shots WILL be at the Health Dept thru May!
looks like we will need to get them on our own - wether at the health dept or through the doctors. The cost difference was not that great as to offset the hassle in getting everyone there at the same time and writting one check.
From Mary Smith -
I got my shots at the health dept today. The nurse was quite friendly,
and I asked her why the yellow fever vaccine was in such short supply.
Besides other things she told me, here is the part that may help you.
Yellow fever vaccine must all be used (or discarded) within 30 minutes
of when the vial is first opened. The single dose vials are what is in
short supply. The five dose vials are not. If I've followed
correctly, there are five of you who need the yellow fever shot. The problem
is everyone is busy, and coordinating a time that was within a 30 minute
timeframe would be difficult. However, if when you go in May, they
are out, this may be worth coordinating.
David and I just got our shots today at the Health Department. Nurse seemed skeptical that there will be 3 single dose vials of yellow fever by the 8th, so let's pray to God that he provides that. But good news, it doesn't hurt bad like tetanus!
