More Ways to Help!

There are many ways you can join this mission without getting on the plane:

Give A good deal of financial support is still needed for team members. Your gift may be the answer to prayer they have been waiting for! Send your gift to St. Luke's Anglican Fellowship, 3725 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, 32311 and mark them "Uganda08 Mission"

Donate Here are some of the things that are needed in Uganda. Megan Trautman is coordinating this effort but you can drop them by the church. The team leaves for Orlando on June 4 at 5:30 pm so please have your items delivered before then.

-Health and hygiene
children's chewable acetaminophen, adult multivitamins and prenatal vitamins (with folic acid & iron), children's chewable multivitamins (without iron), old prescription eyeglasses, reading glasses with magnification.
-School & educational supplies for children
pens, colored pencils, crayons, construction paper, erasers, small pencil sharpeners, colored markers, scissors, coloring books, #2 pencils
-Toys
small stuffed animals, balloons, deflated soccer balls wtih hand pumps
-Sewing items
pins, needles, sewing scissors, beads, spools of thread, wide elastic, patterns (especially for children)
-Agricultural items
seeds (sweet potatoes, pole beans, peach seeds, spinach, mustard greens, turnip greens)
-Other
laptop with Windows XP in good condition

We've been given 60 small teddy bears to take by Holy Cross - I can hardly wait to see the eyes light up! (Then again, it may be best to have them distributed by the folks there - perhaps in the children's ward at the hospital?
